Future Directions to grow presence

Future Directions plans to increase its presence into other geographical areas and offer more support to wider groups of people.

It mainly provides services in the North West but during the year ended 31 March 2020, the community interest company bought operations in West Yorkshire.

It strengthened its presence in the North West adding services in Stockport and Lancashire, it said in its financial report.

The provider, which supports more than 350 individuals with learning disabilities, mental health problems and other complex needs, plans to open supported living services to 47 people across Rochdale and Stockport this financial year.

Future Directions grew its revenue to £21.2m this year, up from £19.7m in 2019. It had an operating profit of £231,164 (2019: £183,718).
