The Scottish care sector is set for a boost after student nursing and midwifery places increased for the seventh consecutive year to reach record levels. Intake has grown by 7.6% to more than 4,000 places, and the Scottish government has announced that bursaries will be higher in 2019/20, rising to £10,000 a year in 2020/21….
