Patrick Evans has joined Montreux Capital Management (UK) as investment director, joining from Knight Frank where he was partner.
The move sees Montreux strengthen its team due to increased deal flow and broader expansion plans as it grows its asset base.
Evans, who previously spent 17 years at Knight Frank and has worked alongside Montreux on deals, will add experience across the investment function of the business, as well as a strong network within the sector.
‘The fund’s strategy to expand and constantly improve standards across our portfolio companies is driven by a simple ambition; to help residents, their families and staff members thrive,’ said Evans. ‘As demand for healthcare services increases, it is more important than ever that innovative owners continue to invest in the sector.’
The move is coupled with several recent hires by the firm, including Dr Amlan Basu as chief medical officer, Fay Hitchenor as head of people and Terry Allen as senior analyst.
Oliver Harris, founder and managing partner of Montreux Capital Management (UK), said: ‘We have made several key hires over the past few months, maintaining our position as one of the best teams in UK specialist care investment.
‘Patrick joining our team is great news for our investors and wider stakeholders as his expertise will add significantly to our acquisition process and his network ought to increase deal flow further.’
