Its 24/7 virtual GP service – GP24 – is now available to all 48,000 UK-based employees of management and professional services company, Mitie. This will provide them with 24/7 access to a GP by phone for diagnosis, advice and support as well as private prescriptions and referral letters via a personalised app.
The delivery of Medical Solutions’ virtual service for Mitie’s employees comes soon after the launch of GP24 to all 4,800 staff at Anglian Water Group, which supplies water and water recycling services to customers in the east of England and Hartlepool.
The digital health provider has worked with Alliance Health Group since 2014, providing its GP service to employees within its client base who are part of a private healthcare plan managed by Alliance.
Paul Nattrass, commercial director at Medical Solutions, said the extended partnership will give employees the reassurance they can access expert medical advice and support ‘anytime, anywhere.’
Medical Solutions has entered a number of partnerships offering its virtual services this year, with companies such as Cirencester Friendly, General & Medical, Medicash, PG Mutual, Freedom Health Insurance, National Friendly and WPA.
