Totally announces contract extensions across portfolio

Totally plc has announced a series of contract extensions across its growing portfolio of NHS facing and corporate wellbeing services.

Energy Fitness Professionals (EFP), the corporate fitness provider acquired by Totally in December, has been awarded a five-year contract extension for the delivery of on-site gyms for the Royal Mail, valued at a total of £2.5m.

EFP has managed the Royal Mail’s on-site gyms for 18 years. The contract, which will run until 16 May 2027, covers the management of 34 sites and the introduction of an enhanced digital offering.

Under the deal, members will have access to the ‘Health Hub’ app, which facilitates booking and payments as well as providing access to live online workouts and recorded exercise classes.  It will also trial a new wellbeing consultation protocol for gym members ‘Health Fair’. Users will be able to book a one-to-one consultation to capture key health data and discuss fitness goals. Anonymised data collated across all sites will also provide Royal Mail with insight into employee health, enabling action plans to be developed for business improvement.

In a separate development, Vocare, part of Totally’s Urgent Care Division, has secured three contract extensions to deliver GP out-of-hours services across the North East of England.

Valued at around £4.2m, the contracts, which were originally awarded in 2018, 2019 and 2020, have been extended until 31 March 2023.

Totally is anticipating earnings substantially ahead of expectations for the year ended 31 March 2022. EBITDA for the year is projected to exceed the £5m announced in 2021 and consensus market expectations of £5.4m when the company announces its year end results in July.
